The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was established by the
Australian Government to support eligible individuals with disabilities in
accessing essential resources and services — including assistive technology.

Assistive technology refers to equipment or devices designed to help you
live more comfortably, safely, and independently. At MobilityGo, we specialise
in providing high-quality mobility aids and assistive equipment to meet a wide
range of needs.

Whether you are self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed, we are
here to make the process as smooth as possible.

Am I eligible for the NDIS?

To access the NDIS, you’ll need to meet a few basic criteria:

  • Be between 7 and 65 years old
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special
    Category Visa
  • Have a disability that impacts your daily life or meet the early intervention
    requirements

NDIS - Self Managed

If you self-manage your NDIS plan, you can shop with us like any online store:

  1. Add your items to the cart.
  2. Checkout securely using our VISA or Mastercard payment methods.
  3. Receive a Tax Invoice by email, which you can keep for your records or reimbursement.

Plan-Managed Participants

If your plan is managed by a Plan Manager:

  1. Add items to your cart and at checkout select "NDIS Order" in the payment section.
  2. A copy of the quote will be emailed to you.
  3. Forward the quote to your Plan Manager for approval.
  4. Ask your Plan Manager to send written confirmation and your NDIS participant details to support@mobilitygo.com.au.
  5. Once we receive approval, we’ll arrange your order.

3. Agency-Managed Participants (PACE & PRODA)

If your plan is Agency-Managed, it will be managed through PACE or PRODA:

  • PACE Participants – Ensure that MobilityGo is designated as a Provider before placing your order.
  • PRODA Participants – A service booking is required before we can process your order.

How to order:

1. Add your items to the cart
and select "Create Quote from Cart".

2. Once you receive your quote, send it to your NDIA representative for approval.

3. Email the approval and all mandatory participant details (listed below) to support@mobilitygo.com.au so we
can create a service booking and finalise your order.

Participant:

  • Full name & contact details
  • Alternative contact (if applicable)
  • Plan start & end dates
  • Date of birth (required for NDIS myPlace portal claims)

Plan Manager (if relevant):

  • Plan Manager name & NDIS Provider Number
  • Individual planner name & contact details

Support Coordinator / Therapist (if relevant):

  • Name, company/organisation, contact details

Need It Faster?

You can also pay upfront and claim a reimbursement through your NDIS plan. This is often quicker, avoiding the extra wait for Plan Manager processing.
